Stellar Tex Medium

A high build textured finish devoid of lime and cement, based on special acrylic polymer and medium size fillers. Intended for use on interior and exterior walls, ceilings, masonry, precast concrete panels and gypsum boards which yields a beautiful grandeur textured finish.

Surface Preparation

The surface should be sound, dry and clean, free from dirt, oil, grease, and loose paint, or powdery materials…

A. Old Painted Surfaces

  1. Remove the old paint as much as possible.
  2. Sand the entire surface and remove all the dust.
  3. Wash down with Ammonia Water Solution.
  4. Rinse with clean water and allow to dry.
  5. Prime the surface to be painted with STELLAR Primer Sealer or STELLAR Latex Sealer.
  6. Fill cracks and holes with STELLAR Wall Putty or STELLAR Acrylic Filler.
  7. After drying, sand the putty and clean the surface once again.
  8. Apply two coats of STELLAR – Tex Medium.

A. New Surfaces

  1. Sand the surface until completely smooth, remove all the dust.
  2. Prime the surface to be painted with stellar Primer Sealer or stellar Latex Sealer.
  3. Apply 1-2 Coats of stellar Wall Putty or stellar Acrylic Filler.
  4. After drying, sand the putty and clean the surface.
  5. Apply one coat of stellar – Tex Medium
