Uses
- To be used in most types of roofs, such as concrete, metal, asbestos, etc.
- Ideal for waterproofing of car park decks and exposed surfaces in water prone systems such as foundations, basements, tunnels, ground floors, suspended floors, car decks, roof terraces, balconies, patios, bridges, inspection pits, sewage works, inverted roofs, bathrooms, kitchen, toilets etc.
- Recommended as a protective membrane for P.U. installation.
Coverage
1 kg/m2 per coat, approximately (depending on the support and the means of application)
Application
The support must be clean, free of dust, dirt, oil, grease and loose particles. When applying on metal surfaces, remove rust and contamination for best results. Apply with brush, roller or an appropriate spray. Apply a primer the coat of RAK Proof (80% RAK Proof + 20% water) with brush, roller or spray. Once the primer coat has completely dried, apply a minimum two coats of undiluted RAK Proof. It is important to ensure that coat has totally cured (i.e. minimum 8 hours at 30°C) before applying the next coat. For better results, a glass fibre mat is reinforced into the first coat while it is wet, at expansion areas and joints with parapets.
Shelf Life
Must be protected between 5°C and 30°C. 12 months in unopened airtight containers.
Cleaning
Clean all tools with water after use
